Privacy Policy

Warmly is an AI networking copilot that helps students identify professional connections, prepare personalized outreach, schedule user-approved emails, and track recruiting relationships. This policy explains what information Warmly collects and how it is used.

Information we collect

We may collect account information such as your name and email address; profile information such as your school, major, graduation year, recruiting track, and uploaded résumé; professional and contact information that you add, import, or confirm; LinkedIn screenshots that you choose to upload; outreach templates, schedules, notes, replies you record, and relationship history; subscription information; and limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Google user data

When you connect Gmail, Warmly requests the minimum permission needed to send emails that you have selected, reviewed, and approved. Warmly uses the gmail.send permission only to send those user-approved messages from your Gmail account.

Warmly does not request permission to read, modify, delete, or monitor your Gmail inbox. Warmly does not use Google user data for advertising and does not sell Google user data. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use information

• Provide and personalize Warmly's networking and recruiting features.
• Save your profile, résumé, contacts, templates, schedules, and relationship history.
• Generate suggested outreach using information you provide or confirm.
• Send only the messages you explicitly review and authorize.
• Protect the service, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse.

AI and uploaded information

Warmly may process LinkedIn screenshots and professional information to extract visible details and suggest personalized outreach. You must review and confirm extracted information before using it. Warmly does not claim that AI-generated or inferred information is always accurate and does not permit fabricated commonalities.

Storage, sharing, and retention

Warmly relies on third-party service providers for functions such as authentication and database storage, file storage, application hosting, payment processing, AI-assisted extraction and writing, email discovery or verification, and user-authorized Gmail sending. These providers process information on Warmly's behalf or under their own applicable terms. We do not sell personal information. We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service.

Your choices

You may disconnect Gmail at any time through your Google Account permissions. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Warmly account data. Disconnecting Gmail prevents future sends but does not automatically delete other Warmly account information.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Warmly is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Warmly evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
